Bunny hunting in NJ?
This question is directed towards fellow NJ hunters. I took my hunters safety training early this year only to have access to the shotgun ranges at the Wildlife Mgmt Areas after getting my first shotgun. I am not a hunter and never have done it but now that I have my hunting/ rifle license I am thinking about going after some wabbits. My wife loves the tasty dish so I was thinking about giving it a try. I would like to take my 10/22 instead of removing lots of shot from he meat. First off is this allowed in NJ (.22 hunting for rabbits), second what would be a good web site to start with other than the NJ official site which I find to not be to informative? I see the season is open now but just would like more details.
Thanks,

Re: Bunny hunting in NJ?
You can't use a .22 for bunnys in NJ. Shotgun or bow...
Spend some time on newjerseyhunter.com... good site for NJ guys.
