Is there any way to get 100% confirmation of this?

I have a .22 revolver (Single Six) and if you're familiar with that gun, there is NO way to use speedloaders! Reloading it is a very slow process....and doesn't fullfill the requirement.

Only reason I ask is that there is about an 80% chance I can make this one along with a co-worker....he also only has a Ruger 10/22 for a rifle, but has a pistol & shotgun (same as I do).

The other co-worker that has a bunch of rifles is out on vacation until next week & I can't get ahold of him.

I'd hate to ask someone to bring along a rifle & then not be able show up (or buy ammo for a rifle I can't use)! Due to the nature of my PT job (local truck driving) I could be finished anywhere from 7:30am to 9:00am. If I have an early day, I will be there (already cleared by the wife). I think it'll take me anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour to get there from Temple. If I only get done at 9:00am, there's no way I can make it without breaking many laws, which I really don't want to do with a car load of guns!

    Thanks!

I wanted to go to this tomorrow, but just realized that there isn't any address posted! The directions on the website are pretty much meaningless to me. If anyone happens to catch see this and knows a gps'able address nearby, PM me. otherwise I guess I'll catch the next one.

well, turns out I COULD have made it, but I couldn't get clarification on using a .22 rifle for the rifle portion......

I tried calling the club directly and club officials on Friday afternoon that had phone numbers posted....no one could answer my question or help me. I just kept getting passed to different people. One told me to call "Dave" but didn't have his number....ummmm, how am I supposed to call him?

What a bummer......with 3 kids and 3 jobs, my "free" weekends are few and far between.

It was nice to see several new shooters at the Halloween shoot. The tactical committee will be discussing the .22 issue along with many others items that arose during the past two years. One shooter did use a Ruger Mark II on Saturday, but I do not know of anyone ever using the .22 rifle.

Please post any updates to this or PM me if/when a decision is made.
If a .22 rifle IS allowed, count on two more people attending (at least).

    Thanks!
