Knoxx stock on Rem 870----took it off!
After getting my lower jaw bashed in for a few months I finally decided that the Knoxx recoil reducing stock was not for me. Sorry if you are interested in buying it, its already sold to someone I work with. Did anyone else experience the same problem? I know it was probably my technique but after holding a shotgun the same way for so many years I couldnt be broken of old habits. Once I put the stock forearm and buttstock back on I also think it looks more "down to business" than it did with the other stock anyway.

Re: Knoxx stock on Rem 870----took it off!
I have the stock on a Moss 590. I even have the slightly bulky power pack attachment. I've never had a problem with any of the things that I keep reading about.
Compared to a regular stock, it is a slightly different way of shooting. But like any other firearm, the more you shoot it, the more you'll become familiar and accurate with its operation. That said, the stock has no operational parts per say, but I still refer the Knoxx over a regular stock. Especially when shooting heavier loads. That's where the Knoxx lets you feel what it's intended to do.

on a similar notion, has anyone tried the KNOXX powerstock of rather standard design and profile? It is a single spring design and simply looks like a shorter LOP synth stock.

Re: Knoxx stock on Rem 870----took it off!
I have used the Knoxx NRS stock and the first couple times I shot it with the new stock on I did check the old cheek slap a couple of times, but after a while I adjusted and it's not so bad anymore.
