School grounds are different then say a movie theater or shopping mall. Which will generally just ask you to leave. Be aware they can possibly charge you with trespassing if it is posted with signage.

School grounds are a whole different issue, covered by a different statute. Worse case there is your going to be arrested and have to hire a lawyer to argue your defense under the current statute. Granted it's been won before, but it will cost lots of time and money with no guarantee that you'll be exonerated.
Sorry, meant like college campus. If there is a difference.

PA's statute on weapons on school property (Section 912) applies to K-12 schools, and VoTech schools run by the same folks. Not colleges.

    ^^^ this^^^

College campus would work similarly to a posted property. Unless you're a student, then I would think expulsion would be the biggest risk.

Don't forget their are public and private universities. Private schools like U Penn, Ursinus , and Gettysburg could trespass you. Public universities (of which their are 14 + PSU in the state) like Millersville, Ship, Lock Haven, IUP, and Edinboro should follow state law (note the word 'should'). PSU & state schools allow CC on grounds but not in buildings per 2014 PASSHE revised policy (http://www.passhe.edu/inside/er/Page...ask-Force.aspx)

Awesome, thanks guys. Would be the Hershey Med school area, which is private AFAIK. And not a student there so risk of expulsion is not something I am afraid of lol

Yes, but only on the second tuesday of the week.

Since this is a JUNIOR MEMBER (with all of one posting), Let's back off just a little on the cheekiness and edumicate our youngster.

First, THERE IS NO SUCH THING as a "Pa. CCL". It is an LTCF, a License to Carry Firearms. Yes, it permits you to carry concealed, but also permits you to carry in Philadelphia (Section 6108 of the Crimes Code), carry in or on a vehicle (Section 6109), or carry during a declared State of Emergency.

Carrying/transporting a loaded handgun, whether it's in a holster or not, in (car, truck, bus, train, etc.) or on (riding mower, bicycle, motorcycle, horse, skateboard, etc.) requires one to possess an LTCF. Vehicle transport is vehicle transport, and has nothing to do with carrying openly or concealed.

Got questions? This forum site has stickies to cover most.

    As a total A-hole, I am offended.

I was also working and missed my opportunity to crap on the thread.
