Re: small game gun question
Yes, as long as it's manually operated i.e. revolver or single shot, it's ok to use.

Re: small game gun question
i'd strongly suggest seeing how it patterns before you take it out in the woods... beyond 5 yards you may not have enough shot to kill the tree rat
The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.
Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

Re: small game gun question
Isn't there a three shot limit on the number of shells the weapon may hold while hunting small game?

Re: small game gun question
Manually operated handguns that are 23cal or less.. It doesn't make note of what shells can be used, only the design of the gun. The Judge isn't a shotgun, so it doesn't qualify that way either. A hardass WCO could cite you even if you use 410 shells in the gun just on the basis that it exceeds the .23 caliber restriction.
You can use it on groundhogs though.RIP: SFN, 1861, twoeggsup, Lambo, jamesjo, JayBell, 32 Magnum, Pro2A, mrwildroot, dregan, Frenchy, Fragger, ungawa, Mtn Jack, Grapeshot, R.W.J., PennsyPlinker, Statkowski, Deanimator, roland, aubie515

Re: small game gun question
I would just spend the hundred bucks and get a single shot .410 shotgun, it's the only thing I use for small game and you aren't going to be able to ethically kill a squirrel 20-30 yards away out of a 4 inch barrel... lol
