well, the pic is proly just to get the idea across. I would think you would mount it inboard like a normal holster.
The last thing I want to do is hurt you... but believe me, it's on the damned list.

Until you get into a car accident.
Guy in front of you gets aggressive, you reach for your gun "OH NO, WHERE DID IT GO".
It bounced off the dash and is now in the back seat somewhere, good luck.

Inboard would only work with bucket seats no? My pickup has bench seat so would have to mount on outboard side.

Especially if you're targeted in a "Bump" carjacking.

Inboard also would not be very usefull if you're right handed.
I have bucket seats, but the armrest is right against the seat. It would be too awkward to get to a holster on the inboard side.

Good idea, not the best execution unless the mounting straps can be used to mount it to the front of the seat (between your knees) as well.

How about a Pep Boys or Wal Mart seat cushion with a pocket sewn on to hang down the front of the seat between your legs. Not a proper holster, but it'd be handy & seems like it would work.

How about this. I seen it a while back but your picture reminded me of it.

It also doubles as a concealed carry holster IWB. I have the holster and it works pretty good.
