Sad news. Meleanie Hain [shefearsnothing] was killed tonight

This is almost surreal. I didn't want to believe she was murdered, but then I read on... This is a tragedy for her, her family and especially her children. I'm truly at a loss for words.

I just saw this on the news as well. I don't post much and only lurk here every now and again but I knew of the OC backstory.

I am stunned.

Condolences go to the kids and family.

I have now tried several times to make a statement about domestic violence and each time it became far too long and soapbox-ish. I'll try to be quick:

If you hit "he may turn violent", get out now. There was never a chance to fix anything from day one and it will never get better, only worse.

OMG! I can't believe this!
Scott seemed quiet, but normal the one time we met, and Meleanie was always smiling and joking when I was around her.
What a tradegy to wake up to.
I'll certainly be praying for those three beautiful children.

I don't quite know how to do best this.. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but our friend and fellow PAFOA member Meleanie was killed tonight as was her husband Scott.

Not many details yet. Apparent murder/suicide.

I heard this on WHP as I was walking out of the house for work.
I never met Meleanie, but enjoyed her posts on here.
