Training in my area?
All I see around the forums here are these training classes. Whether new to guns or not, guys seem to rack up training. I figure, the more training you have on your "record" the better. Especially when making a case to get non resident CCW's from other states. I have enough for Florida. However with other states it couldn't hurt my case, or hurt me for that matter. More training = better gun handler.
Problem is, I live in Altoona. There is nothing around here. I don't have the time and money to drive somewhere and stay overnight. I want to go to something relatively close and there seems to be nothing. I figured being Altoona...one of the areas more 'populated' areas...there would be more training.
Does anyone know of anything?
Also, side question. I'm sure I know the answer to this but I'll ask anyway. When getting "training", say someone is a formal instructor for a government agency...but they are no longer. Can you be 'trianed' by them and have them sign a document and that count as training?
