    Default $15.00 transfer fee!

At Kerpers in Lancaster County. I dont think anyone can beat that. They said since they have a small store in the middle of nowhere that price gets people out and once there they discover a pretty good shop. Does anyone know of similar xfer fees anywhere?

If that is truly the all-inclusive price - good find.

One dealer here near PGH charges $20.00 to do a FTF xfer thru his bound-book, and then an extra $20.00 if you need a copy of his FFL to get something shipped to him. So yeah, a Gunbroker buy is a $40.00 xfer.

Still cheaper than the $74.00 that the local Gander Mtn charges for a GBroker deal.

Our local GMtn is 80.00. However the local Mom&Pops is only 20.

Troxell's Sporting Goods in Williamsport (on Lycoming Creek Road) recently did a transfer for me for 15 bucks. No other fees ontop of that. He was a damned polite fellow, to boot.

Certainly a good way to build up customer loyalty, I'd say. Customers respond better when they don't feel they're getting screwed...like by an $80 fee

A bit of a specialty case, but if you're around NE Philadelphia keep your eye out on gunbroker for Phoenix Distribution in Feasterville. They aren't open to public, but from what I gather the guy that runs it is a brother or cousin or something to the owner of Surplus City around the corner on Bustleton Ave. They took the Sig I won over there around noon the next day and SC only charged me $5 for the transfer.

I'm meeting someone at Schuylkill Gun works to transfer a revolver he is buying from me. Joe at SGW quoted me $8 for a FTF private transfer. Can't beat it, IMO.

Do you have to call them ahead of time if you need to have a firearm transfered there? I just placed an order from BudsGunShop.com on 90-day layaway. And I still need to find an FFL to have it shipped to. I ordered a Smith and Wesson SW40VE (Sigma 40) for only $299 plus a $50 mail-in rebate through Smith and Wesson. Couldn't resist.
