Looking for club recommendations
I live in northern Lancaster county and I'm looking for club recommendations.
My wife and I shoot pistols, rifle, and archery. I'd like to have clays and trap available to me as well.
Pistol can be indoor/outdoor/both but I enjoy shooting steel as well as paper.
Palmyra Sportsmen is really nice, but it's a hike. I've been to Manheim Sportsmen once to sight in a rifle, and it was ok, but I'm not interested shooting lead round nose only for the indoor pistol range.
Anyone have any suggestions?

eat cocalico sportsman, new holland sportsman or go to one of the state game land ranges. manheim's outdoor pistol range works just as well as the indoor as you are standing inside when you're shooting - i actually liked it there a good bit. now i shoot at the state game land range in chester county because it's only a half an hour from ephrata.

Re: Looking for club recommendations
http://www.cocalicosportsmen.org/ will probably be your best bet, except for clays. For sporting clays, I would go to Cacoosing Gun Club in Birdsboro (not as far as it sounds).
New Holland Rifle & Pistol is another option: http://nhrpc.org/

Re: Looking for club recommendations
The two things I shoot the most are pistol and archery...clays would be nice, but they're not vital.

Ephrata has a pretty active Archery Range at the corner of Maple Street and Mohler's Chrurch Road. Don't know much about though.
Also, Ephrata Archery has an indoor range at: 368 N Reading Rd

Re: Looking for club recommendations
Try Palmyra Sportsmens Association. It's about 20 minutes from me and I'm in Manheim. They have walk through archery, and lots of targets to shoot at. They also have several really nice ranges for pistol, indoor, outdoor, and 3 "pits" where you can shoot plates, pins or whatever.
