M1A Pre-ban Flash hider

Hey! I just Picked up a M1A with NM Trigger, Barrel, And Sights For $1630.00.
Did I get A good Price?? (Blue Barrel, Walnut Stock .308) . And anyways i wanted to mount a bayonet on it and noticed it didnt have a lug on the flash Supressor, any ideas where i can get a stripped FS? Like w/o the castle nut. How much would that cost? Thanks for all your Help!!!

yeah that was me, lol. i was thinking that it would be a heck of a lot more fun to shoot in a m1a competiton that a AR. i was able to get some "loans" from family members to purchase it.
