Smile A hatchet I made recently for deer hunting

I recently made this lil ole hunting hatchet for when I go deer hunting to help me cut up the carcus. It is really effective and is ideal for taking off heads and feet.

That's a sweet looking piece. That would make a nice all-around backpackers axe as well.

nice piece, how is the balance?

If God didn't intend us to have guns why would he have given us a trigger finger?

It feels real good in the hand, almost like it is part of you - natural like. The one thing I like in a blade is that the back of my hand doesn't slide off the back of the knife. This can't do that and it is big enough for a man's hand. I don't like it if I lose grip when dressing a deer or the like.
