Default Archery hunting to start (all seasons!) - 550.00

So on AT someone just asked what you can get into archery hunting for... here you go this would be a setup I would be 100% comfortable going into the woods with:

Diamond Razors Edge package form Cabelas: 330.00

Beaman ICS Arrows (per 6): 30.00

    3 Slick Trick broadheads: 25.00

    Cabelas wrist release: 25.00

Total so far is 410.00, Cabelas will give 100.00 gift card after spending 400.00

**Order online with 100.00 gift card, pickup in store if possible**

Long sleeve t-shirt (buy 1 size to big so you can wear layers under it- 10.00

5 Pocket wrangle jeans, once again buy size big, you can always wear a belt :P - 15.00

    Cold Weather Jacket - 50.00
Silent Weave Bibs (insulated) - 40.00

That puts us at around 115.00 (-100.00 for the gift card = +15 to total)

    From Sportsmans guide:

    Poly Fleece suit 45.00 (2pieces)

    Boots - 40.00

    Knit Cap / face mask - 6.00
Socks - 11.00 (can probably find a better deal somewhere)

    + 15.00 S&H

Grand total form Sportsmans Guide = 120

So all total your bill for everything you need to hunt archery all year long, including late season and rifle season = 535.00 (give or take) and this is everything dedicated strictly to hunting, not reusing anything you have.

I know Gloves are not included, you don't need them, either wear what you have or use pockets :P
The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.

Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

You forgot about a $400 tree stand and the new truck to haul the deer back to the local butchershop in...

Nice collection of good deals though. With several posts from new hunters recently, the timing is quite nice as well.

I would recommend a target of some sort unless shooting comes natural. Oh and field points. I would say about 40 bucks would cover it. 30 for the target and 10 for points.

or make your own out of available resources. pressed cardboard targets work fantastic. once you are on the money go to a shop where you can shoot broadheads, shoot 4 or 5 and make sure it works and you are set.
