Default Picking up my first Sig...

...on Friday at Seneca Arms in Green Lane, PA. John couldn't have been a nicer guy. I placed it on hold today.

Actually, not only is it my first Sig, it's my first firearm. I know I may get grief from some since I've read some not so kind reviews on it, but it's a Mosquito. Since it's my first handgun, I wanted something in a smaller caliber so I could get used to the handling. So, please go easy on me!

Will post pics once I bring it home.

im glad that youre getting your first firearm, but the mosquito shouldnt be classified as a SIG. but best of luck with it anyways.
Guns don't kill people, it's mostly the bullets.

I fired a forum member's Mosquito and liked it very much. Lots of people like to start with a smaller caliber. Congrats and have fun with it.

Yep, I know about the ammo it likes...high velocity. And yes, I do plan on carrying...once the slow-as-molasses Lehigh County sheriff approves my LTCF. I plan on purchasing a Fobus holster for it.

Congratulations, and don't listen to the Sig snobs. Be happy and safe with your new gun. But be careful cause they like to multiply.

Nice, you know what, I just bought a Fobus holster for my 226 and I absolutely hate it. It may be because its an OWB and the gun is heavy causing a lot of flopping around but I don't really like it. Look around a bit...
