Hello Guys,

Sorry to be the nit-picker ... guess it's 12 yrs. of the Nuns in Catholic School, but the bold line in quotes below from Is your Mayor part of NYC Mayor Bloomberg's Gun Control organization? needs a little Proof Reading I think.

" In Pennsylvania, the imperative the encourage mayors to leave Bloomberg’s coalition is clear "

Is it me, or is something out of sorts ?

All of us make a mistake now and then, but I hate to give the Anti's the opportunity to say .. ' See, their just uneducated '.

that's exactly the sort of mistake ... Guilty as charged !

After I hit ' submit ' I noticed ... would be extremely hypocritical of me to ' Edit ' my goof when pointing out the goof up mentioned ... I am however, glad to see that you also noticed the mistake ... hopefully both mistakes, the one I made and also the topic.

You a product of Catholic School also ? ... seems what you and I are speaking of is the ' norm ' anymore. Not trying to be a smart-ass by pointing it out, but lets say if for some reason the piece would hit the T - V screen, I think we'd both be saying ... ' what the heck was he doin' ' .. Yeah/Nay ?

meh...I failed English class a few times (I was very lazy) in HS, but I was in the school spelling bee a few times. =P

I'm sure it was written rather quickly. I'm sure Dan will get to it when he can.

The best way to proof read is to start at the end and read each word, working backwards toward the beginning. If you can read each word aloud, so much the better.

Ajs, if such a thing as the Anti-Student exists, it was me ... if I'd have put more effort into school, heck, I might actually have amounted to something !

My English failures got me 3 yrs. of Summer School at Cardinal Dougherty .. but we had fun .. what a time !
