    Salt. /thread

I have had enormous success getting blood stains out of fabric with ordinary table salt.

I wet the fabric prior to cleaning, pre-treat with your best concoction, then add enough salt to the wash water to make the fill salty. I have no measurements, just wing it.

When I had my ND last December, everything was soaked through with blood, including socks and underwear. The jeans I was wearing were rather faded and light in color.

I still wear those same clothes today. There is no sign whatsoever of any staining, even after sitting stained for several days before laundering.

I figure since we are made up of such a large amount of salt water (saline) that salt would help to release the stain. I have never been disappointed.

While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.
