LTCF Photo: NOT a 'passport photo'
So the LTCF application says a 'passport type photo'. Well, a passport photo sounds like it'll fit that description. The helpful girl at the Walgreens photo counter, however, informed me that they will NOT accept the 2' x 2' passport photo for an LTCF.
Where can I get a 1 1/2' x 1 1/2' photo made for my LTCF application?Just because 'perfect' is impossible does not mean we should settle for 'broken'.

The license people at 10th & Spring Garden should have told you to go over to the Spaghetti Warehouse on the other side of 10th. They have a photo booth in there that takes the right sized photos (or did).

mmmmm....Spaghetti Warehouse...
I've been doing a lot of reading on license info for other states....and i've noticed that those that require pictures range the size from 1"x1" to 2"x2"...
I think they're just trying to force you to pay them to take the picture...
2"x2" picture would be way to big for PA LTCF...just measured mine...its 7/8" x 1 1/8"....

I had a passport photo taken at a Rite Aid and had no problem with it from the Philadelphia Gun Permit Dept. They put that picture in my file then took a digital picture which they used for the license itself.

One more thing that varies drastically county-to-county. When I applied in Chester County a few months ago, they took the picture right in the sheriff's office. That was probably part of the $25 extra that I paid for the DL-size laminated license.
