Saw this at Blockbuster :(
So me and the Misses are cruising through local Pottstown Block Buster when I see this. My blood pressure entered a new atmosphere. Since when do we praise socialism in this country, and tout it as brilliant and stunning. Seriously please America WAKE UP!!! Sorry bout quality, cell phone picture.
When injustice becomes law, rebellion becomes duty!

Maybe it's just me, but the way I read those covers, the reviewers are praising the quality of the production itself. Not Che. But I could be wrong.

Give us a thorough review after you watched both movies.

I'm pretty sure they were talking about the performance in the movie which I have heard to be spectacular. I actually have that on my list to watch.

I think you are a little sensitive about the pics.... It is hollyweird nothing more. There have been many movies glorifying far worse things. Don't let it bother you.

Re: Saw this at Blockbuster :(
IMHO there is nothing wrong in such a movie being made or available. This is America, we embrace the right to speak as we think. Sure, the guy was pretty much the anti-thesis of our values in general and I am bothered by idiots wearing a t-shirt with his image on it. I just see a dolt who never really looked into who the man really was and bought into the propaganda BS. Myself, I'd welcome my kids to watch such a movie, then use it to open up a discussion on his real agenda, methods and character. I feel the same about people such as Mao, Castro and others. Their not "people's heros", their tyrants. But they exist and it's up to the viewer to determine the real worth of these people and teach their kids the truth of such people. Now, as a store owner would I plaster an ad for it on my front window...definately not, but I would certainly carry it. I'd carry Rambo too, and that's nowhere near any reality either. Hell, after reviewing it I might just put it in the fiction section.

Re: Saw this at Blockbuster :(
I seen them, they are actually very good movies. I'm a Del Toro fan.
A movie is just a movie, nothing more, nothing less.
No diff than watching batman, night of the living dead, inglorious bastards etc...
It's just for entertainment,, but I also watched them on the net for free, so nobody made a penny off me viewing them
I also bought a che shirt because I thought it was funny as hell that a guy who fought soooo hard against capitalism has his image on a shirt at the mall.
Then I took the shirt and spray painted a big red X over his face, I figured that got my point accross.WAKE UP OR WACO!

Re: Saw this at Blockbuster :(
I recently saw a movie about Hitler and have yet had the desire to build ovens or invade Poland.
Even if you saw the movie I don't think you would become a socialist. Just walking past it in a store? I think you are safe.....
