    Default Any AR-15 Training Classes?

Hey Guys, I'm new to the forums so lets take it easy

I was wondering if anybody knew of any AR-15 Courses worth looking at? I am looking for something with basic marksmanship principles, and how to use my AR as a home defense weapon. Any help is greatly accepted. Thanks!

Depends, do you need something local? Tony from the FIRE Institute will probably be able to chime in more on the subject but to get the ball rolling I know they offer decent courses and are located out by Pittsburgh and would be an excellent first course for a beginner.

Insights, Vickers Tactical or CSAT offer great intro courses. I'm sure the FIRE Institute does as well, but I don't know much about their courses.

There are a lot of different classes worth taking. Here is a good place to read up on them, some.

How far are you willing to travel for your training? That will help people give you good options.

FIRE Inst is a non-profit dedicated to bringing affordable training to the area.

generally what they do is host a class with an instructor such as Randy Cain ( Cumberland Tactics), Giles Stock, Steve Tarani.

They dont have any more carbine courses this year, but come next year check out the new schedule when its up.
