yep, that would effectively end concealed carry in philly. Fortunately this has no chance of going anywhere, and even if it did....

Re: HB 1633 - Philly Registration
They were discussing this (showing the PA House) on PCN today and one of the reps was like "all the citizens of PA will ether pay in the front end (let the bill pass and pay for the registraiton) or in the back end (more tax $$ for court fees, police officers, and some other stuff that I forget). It has also been said that they want to only ban illegal guns but as we saw before (I forget which post it was in) felons don't have to register their guns due to self incrimination.

Re: HB 1633 - Philly Registration
And note that we, in this case, means everyone in PA. Why should EVERYONE IN PA have to pay for a corrupt city gone hopelessly out of control?
The politicans in Philly claim they want Home Rule when it comes to gun control. But where's the Home Rule when it comes to enforcing laws, punishing criminals, requiring citizens to do their duty to be responsible members of society, and maintaining law and order? No, in that case they claim it's the world's obligation to help them out. The double standard set by these welfare-state-liberals-gone-amok is disgusting."Political Correctness is just tyranny with manners"
