Or at the very least on camera and in their database. There was cameras in the backstops filming everyone that went there during that whole investigation. A cadet I know watched the videos as part of the training in the police academy. licence plates, facial recognition, what kind of guns you brought... all on video. Kinda makes you think. wtf but maybe its all ok at this new range. or its all built in ahead of time. hmm

Figured any cameras in the backstop were destroyed with the rest of everything else at that range.

with the shooting skills of some of the folks that went there, cameras were probably safe inthe backstops. they were probably safe right in the a-zone of a sillouette target for that matter. Watched a guy with a laser-sighted ruger revolver totally miss the backstop on the pistol range.

I stopped up today after the Schmooze and Nosh. Someone was shooting a shotgun on the pistol range and blew the hell out of the 2x4 on the target hanger. other than that and some casings its very clean and nice. I was surprised at how easy it was to get to and that the road was plowed.

im thinking of heading up there today, if the wind isnt too bad in that area. it should be around 37 around noon.

id like to shoot the mauser but im all out of 8mm and Dunkleburgers is all out of the milsurp ive been buying there. $20 for 100 rounds of 1940 FH 8mm was a hell of a deal.

J let me know if you plan on going today, ill stop by then.

I made it yesterday and the range was in good shape. The 2x4 blown apart by the shotgun must of been fixed because everything was god to use.
Had the range to ourselves for the two hours we were there and had a blast.
