    Default Price of Ammunition

So why is ammunition so expensive?

And I the guy at Dunham's said it is supose to be going up again due to this new Tax.

one way is that the tax will be more for the larger Cal.

or a flat tax to be add to each box of ammunition

Has anyone heard anything about this and if so why are they doing this to us.

This topic has been covered about a million times in various forums. There are several factors that have made ammo more expensive.

    Fuel cost
    Metal prices
    War
China buying up a lot of the raw materials to fuel their economy
    Paris Hilton going to prison...kidding

Only thing you can do is buy as much as you can afford now, because it won't be getting any cheaper to shoot or to reload. There are a few price increases scheduled this year, so BUY BUY BUY.

Words of wisdom. I wish I would have listened to Aubie a little bit more last year when I was buying cases of SA .308 for about $200.

I could have bought a bunch, and sell them for about 200% profit... or just keep it and have more to shoot!

Material costs are up, but more importantly the value of the dollar is in the shitter. What you're seeing is inflation

    It's George W. Bush's fault.

If you blame him for war and inflation, then that's a valid observation.

If it wasn't for G.W. Bush, Paris Hilton would still be in jail, my truck wouldn't have a burnt valve and Snyder's beer pretzels wouldn't drop all the salt off them before I get them in the box at the store. But, when the gas prices fall, we haven't been attacked by the Muslims and we have full employment in the U.S. it must be the new Democratically controlled congress' doing.
