Default NFL says no weapons at Point State Park Concert

Is this a preemption violation or is it considered a private event held by the NFL? It is a free concert paid for by the NFL on State owned land. Just posing a question here

The rules on carry in state parks almost certainly apply. I don't think the NFL can preempt them.

They might be able to make a charge/arrest stick if you show up knowing full well they don't want you there, but its a bit of a Grey area. I had a group try to ban me & a friend from an event they held in a public park before though, and when we showed up they did call the police. Nothing came of it because the park was city property and we weren't causing any problems. They (LE) just told us it would make things easier for everyone if we just didn't attend next time.

It is not a preemption violation. §6120(a) prevents counties, municipalities, or townships from regulating firearms. Point State Park is owned by the state; therefore, preemption does not apply.

Sounds like as long as you have a LTCF and conceal the weapon, the NFL cannot override the state law allowing a properly licensed individual to carry a concealed firearm. I am not going to test it out but I just wanted to know if they can stop people from carrying lawfully.
