you should have asked him if he ever shot the gun. most people who shit talk it, are the same ones who shit talk Hi Points, Keltecs, or any other gun they don't think is "cool". i got the same crap when i took mine to the range, by a local cop, but i shot mine better than he could shoot his Glock.

Well they can say what they want because I love my sigma. Glock must have felt that it was enough of a threat to sue s&w. I also don't see glock shipping 22000 guns to Afghanistan for use by the troops which was the largest military purchase from s&w in their history.

Each person has their own opinion about each different type gun. You can find some bad review on everyone if you look.

I personally dont like glocks, I find the ergonomics all wrong for my hand and think they are overpriced for a plastic gun. That doesnt mean they are not a good gun for someone else.

My buddy has one of these and I shot it a bit. The guy who sold it to him called the #12 trigger (tested by gunsmith) a "tactical" trigger. I've also heard people say things like "combat" trigger. I guess that's a new word for shitty But it does beat the hell out a kel-tec trigger.

Seemed to be a reliable gun tho and even though. Compare it side by side to the M&P and it's not even close to the same quality. I'd buy one if it was cheap. Like someone else said I don't think I'd pay more than 200 or 250 for one.

I have to agree. I personally know a guy that convinced me NOT to buy a Glock, even though he was trying to do the opposite. $500+ for Glock $350 for Sigma? Same as Glock and more comfortable to hold. Why else would Glock sue unless they knew they were about to be slaughtered in the market?

And for resale...well, $500 new, $400 used on the Glock...$300-$350 new, $300 used for the Sigma...which has better resale?

He was quick to tell me that my Sigma was a POS. He shot one, one time... a few mags. I put 100 rounds through his G19 before buying the Sigma.

And the Sigma looks better, is made in the US, and is warranted for life.

To each his own...but I bet if more cops had the "horrible trigger" on the Sigma they wouldn't have invented Glock Leg or redesigned their trigger for LEO "training." Each HAD their problems. People adjusted to the light trigger, no safety of Glocks and Sigma fixed their design problems.

Just like the Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla of today are 10,000% better then the 1st gen.

I'd take 2 more Sigmas for the price of a Glock.

Did you ever think it could be there is a lot more profit made selling a more expensive item. The mark up on a $300. pistol can't be much. I believe that's why gun shops talk them down.

I dunno, the trigger on my P32 is soooo much better than everything I've heard about KT triggers. I'm sure your P11 has a nasty trigger, but there are lots of easy home remedys for that. I just hate the mentality that all KTs are shitty or have shitty triggers. Mine was made in 2008 and is awesome. I'm coming up on 1000 rounds through it without a single problem. I know its not the shortest or lightest or most crisp trigger in the world, but for its intended use its great. Plus, for what I paid for my P32 I couldn't ask for a better trigger.

Alright, rant off. Just my two pennies.

I went to the Range last weekend and put 200 rounds out with the new trigger job. LOVE IT! Sooo much better now and the polishing that S&W did. Made the difference. I have to show off my new toy. Just made my order yesterday and can't wait for it to arrive in mid April. Check it out!

Soon to be released Armalaser and they are taking orders now.

Armalaser also has a new tac light with the same design as the laser coming out soon.

I had a SIGMA and I really liked it. I sold mine when I was shifting my inventory around. I will surely add another back to my collection because, as many have already stated, it is very reliable and very inexpensive. Yes the trigger has a heavy pull. Still, I shot well with my SIGMA. I wish I could remember what ammo it was but at one point I changed ammo brand and the new stuff seemed less powerful. The slide caught a few casings before they completely ejected. I switched back and had zero issues.
