Re: my custom painted glock!!
[QUOTE=jcabin;888608]Holy! Man you've got some talent. That looks real neat! I've been thinking about getting my gun painted, I just don't know how I want to do it.
I'm thinking an urban checkered camo gray/darker gray/black or a vietnam tiger stripe black/red. Any experience in these areas?[/QUOTE
I like the urban checkered idea? Paint it like a brick or block wall..that would look cool, I favor brick . Hey I'm retired but still have my equip. I owned a Sign Company & I can cut any style , & I mean any & can draw it on my PC which will cut the pattern to over-lay & paint. Actually it prints 1440 DPI so like the vehicles you see wraped? That's what my printer does ( photographic quality ) So I could wrap it, I'll have to determine how much heat it can withstand. I could wrap your pistol in a picture of you favorite girl. I gotta try this ..hey you got a good idea Just a thought.Last edited by Ronnies111; October 21st, 2009 at 07:27 PM.

Re: my custom painted glock!!
Take a look at this link and if you see something you like, I can do it. Or anything else you can think of.

I'm not sure if you are trying to offer your services to paint other peoples guns, but if you are, I would appreciate if you would start your own thread to do so.
And if you decide to, I suggest you use Duracoat. And if you need any pointers feel free to ask.
Thanks

Oh..No man I'm sorry I have a habit of typing out loud. I'm a retired Sign Company Owner, well retired cause my parents need me @ home 24/7 I was thinking about messing with my Glock & if you needed any computer cut patterns, I would do those for you free just to give me something else to do that isn't hard.
My plotter & printer would cut one in about 5-10 seconds. And I could not handle the small titeous work do that would take to complete. If you need anything special like a pattern you stick, paint & peeL the pattern off. I'll cut those for you free just for the fun of seeing to finished product. My day now is entirely spent at my parents house which I moved out of my ladies home to be able to give them the time they gave me all my life.
I have people come by now wanting me to make signs for them & I turn them down, like I said if I charge it seems like work & I hate work. 30 years making signs is enough. Like I also said I like the part
of sitting @ my PC & designing but that's when the fun ends...lol..Ronnie
Here's a Brick example someone said gray so I made both as an example
I added that old pic for the hell of it for a background.Last edited by Ronnies111; October 23rd, 2009 at 01:05 PM.

Re: my custom painted glock!!
Josh does awesome work, and is a great dude. I will bring more work to him any day. Def up his rep! Thought I would share a couple things he did for me recently. Glock 19 slide he refinished matte black, glock 22 he did OD green, and he did my LCP OD green and refinished the slide matte black. The pictures dont even do it justice.

What would you charge to paint an AR15 in the US Army ACU digital pattern using Duracoat?
Also curious if you are a certified Duracoat Finisher?
Something to look into if you're not, you got talent!
