Members of my beloved forum, meet my M1 Garand. Its a 1943 Springfield with a 1943 Springfield bbl and all Springfield parts.


In the middle is the bore snake my Grandfather of the 101st carried through WW2.

Thanks, Its been in the family since '63. It was a DCM (B4 CMP) purchase.

Very nice rifle. Congrats to you for investing in a piece of American History.

I love it. Sometimes I take it out of the safe and go over the nicks and battle scars and wonder just how they got there. I'm sure some have been put there over the years but I know some have some stoies to tell.

They aren't. Well depending on what you consider expensive. I seen an import recently in the $500's. I also know of a guy who has 20+ Garands from IH's, H&R's, Springers, to a beautiful Winchester.
