I owned a FiveseveN in the past, and loved it.. true it too big to CC comfy but I did anyway for about a year when I was traveling into the ouskirts of Mimai at night. I had it plus two mags on me, so 60 rds ready for action. I think I was loaded w/ SS195 or SS197, not sure.. the SS190 is AP round. My dealer told me he can indeed still get it.. maybe BS maybe not..

The gun is easy to cc due to its so light, even loaded w/20 rds, you barely feel it.. also the trigger guard is really open as the gun is made for SWAT teams, etc.. and they are always wearing gloves, so for cold weather you dont have to take your gloves off if you need a pistol in a hurry..

It has zero recoil and you can easily put 20 rds downrange on target in seconds..

around here in S Fl figure on paying $1110 new and $900 used..

    a glorified .22 mag round
Yes, that is the most common criticism. What gets left out in the frequent comparisons is that the 5.7X28 round fired from a pistol with a five inch barrel equals or betters (Elite Ammo) .22 magnum ballistics from a rifle.

and the 5.56 is a "glorified .22" ... it's not heavy enough to pound tent stakes and yada yada yadda...

the regular ammo is NOT expensive. a little more than 9mm or .40, a lot less than .357, .380, and .45

if you want one, maybe consider the opinions of those who also own ones over those who do not.

it's an absolute joy to shoot, and if SHTF, it's the one my wife wants to carry.
The last thing I want to do is hurt you... but believe me, it's on the damned list.

I don't know if the thread starter is still interested in one of these but Shyda's in Lebanon has them NIB for $899.
