    Question gun trust?

    alrighty now,seen a few threads with this gun trust being mentioned, got a shit load of firearms that would include nfa items. whats the story thanks for any info.

    Its pretty much like a living Will. You pick a heir to get the contents when you pass, usually w/o having to pay the NFA tax. You do not have to submit finger print card, CLEO signatures, or photos for NFA forms.
    You can not put items that you already own it. So for what you already have, you seem to be SOL.
    I have one set up just for my NFA items. You can add as many to it, but they have to be newly transfered items, nothing you already own. Dont quote me, but you prob could if you wanted to pay the $200 tax again and transfer them from YOU to the Trust.
    Ask your Class3 dealer, they would know for sure, or know someone that to write up a Trust and answer your questions.

    You can, but it'd require another transfer and stamps = more $ out the door.
