Why you should be careful while reloading
This is not my pistol. This was posted on Ammosmith.com & just thought I would share...
According to the poster on that thread::
"The owner was fine.
The owner was pretty scared. it "kicked" so hard it pulled one of the bullets like a kinetic puller. My guess the culprit here is a double charge due to carelessness. He is lucky that there were only three rounds in the gun. Six going off at once probably would have resulted in more of a mark on his pieces parts.
His wife loaded for him"Last edited by HeXeD775; September 2nd, 2009 at 10:40 PM. Reason: clarity to pics

Re: Why you should be careful while reloading
My guess is that at some point, this gentleman made the mistake of starting a conversation with his wife that began, "Wow, they just boosted my life insurance at work, if I died in an accident . . . "

Re: Why you should be careful while reloading
well, at least no one was hurt. That kinda thing happens even though it could be mitigated. We're all people and mistakes are made, thankfully for this man and his wife's sake, they were ok. All I have to say about this other then what I previously stated is, his day was probably shitty, but his night better have been awesome, she owes him big.

All I have to say is; "Glad I wasn't standing next to this clod when that thing let go"........You have to wonder about this kind of thing..

Re: Why you should be careful while reloading
A good reason to pick a powder that's volume nearly fills the case. That way a double charge will overflow out onto the table.
