    Default This one followed me home too.

    1942 Long Branch No.4 MK1* I've been wanting one of these for a while. What do think?

    What do i think? Heh i wish my No.4's Stocks looked half that good

    Thanks. I just got done refinishing it and must say it did turn out nice. I just love old guns. I haven't had the chance to shoot this one yet. The stock is actually off of a Savage and everything else matches. The bore is a two groove and is mirror shinny. I think a payed a little to much for it but, who cares smoke'em if you got'em right.

    That one looks really good though so I think it was worth that little extra.

    That right there justifies the extra cost. I have yet to see a No.4 with a shiny bore. Granted i have not looked that hard. Both of mine are are great shooters but the bores are a bit dark.

    I refinished it myself. I stripped off all the nasty stains in the wood lightly sanded it up to 400 grit then applied about 6 coats of a mix of BLO+ turpentine and Beeswax for that classic oil finish.
