My tiger stripe SKS
Just got done w/the tiger stripe camo job on my SKS.
I started w/a Tapco T6 stock in camo. I then put a base coat of flat black over that, let cure for a couple days, put the tiger stripe decals on, added coat of huntre green, let dry, removed decals & sprayed w/flat clear.

That is a sweet paint job.
When you are called a racist, it just means you won an argument with an Obama supporter.

Re: My tiger stripe SKS
Very nice job on that paint. Ive been painting my guns for about 2 years now. What paint did you use? I always use Duracoat, I seem to get the best lubrication out of that paint compared to most paints out there. I have a Springfield XD .45 that I painted desert sand and it came out extremely well. Until the gunsmith that I paid to put new sites on it chipped off some paint on the left side of the frame. Anyone who owns an XD of any caliber, and has tried to put aftermarket sites on it knows that they must use locktite or something to keep those sites on with. They are very hard to take off without damaging the slide. Ill be posting pics of all my painted guns shortly.
