Looking for gunsmith in south central - central PA.
I got my NFA paperwork back and I can now shorten my SAIGA 12. However, I really want the barrel threaded so I can put the brake back on the end. The equipment to do it myself is currently backordered so I thought I would see if I could find someone in the area who could do it.
The Saiga is going down to 12.5 inches."The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of 'liberalism,' they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened."

Give Backwoods Outfitters a call. They are located in Columbia Pa. I had some work done by them on my 1911 and I could not be happier with the work and the price. Others out here have given them good reviews as well. I hope they can help. Let us know how you make out.

You also might want to try:
Shupps Gunsmithing
3502 Druck Valley Rd
York, 17402
I've been to his shop, but haven't had a chance to do business with him yet. I only mention him because I have only heard the best reviews of his work. While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

Biggest issue you're going to run into is finding somebody with a 22x.75 metric tap.
