I decided to post this in the lounge because of an ongoing investigation.

I hope he gets a good smack down. This behavior from someone who should have known better is juvenile and very dangerous.

It just goes to show you that even people in charge can be a$$holes. I hope you can get past this.

Silly question maybe, but are you male or female?

The Station Commander decided it was appropriate to poke me in the lower back with the barrel of a fully assembled AR-15. I did not find it amusing. It bothered me so much I filed a complaint through the proper channels. It also made me seek some outside help with a Dr.

The investigation is still pending - all of the interviews have been completed however the decision has not been given yet. Luckily there was a witness to the incident.

Never in my career would I have thought something like this would happen. I have always thought handling a firearm safely was a number one priority.
I hope this wasn't the commander at the Pittsburgh barracks... I know him

Hmm, I wonder if the complaint process works better for employee on employee violations than it does for civilian complaints....

No disrespect to the thread, but this just doesn't sound right to me? Do PSP walk around with AR's freely as if they are a sidearm? In the barracks, are they walking around with them slung over their shoulders?

rig, couuld you please give more details as to the circumstance before and after the incidence. What did the trooper say when they did it? What did you say when it happened?

PSP does not have "dispatchers" they have PCOs ... Police Communications Officers
