Mid Atlantic Arms Collectors Gun Show. Sat-29th 0900-1700hrs Sun-30th 0900-1600hrs. Greater Philadelphia Expo Center at Oaks.

I just heard the ad on the radio today. Verified on the web site for the Expo Center.

    From the site-

August 29 & 30 Greater Philadelphia Expo Center. Southeastern Pa (in the beautiful suburbs just northwest of Philadelphia) 700 tables, at 422 Business Center, Oaks, Pa. 19456. This is an attractive new expo center with free parking for thousands of cars and many attractions nearby (restaurants, motels, movies, fun sports, and retail outlets. You can expect this to be the big show that replaces our former Fort Washington Expo Center Show with some of the finest sporting rifles, shotguns, & handguns; edged weapons; and military items from all of our country's great conflicts. I was afraid of that. I think this is the same show that was in Allentown several months back. Lots of junk and Nazi memorabilia. Very disappointing. Guess I'll skip it.

Although it wasn't the worst show I have gone to, this show ranks pretty high on my "I can't believe I wasted hard earn money for the this show" list. Too many knick-knack vendors and not enough gun dealers. Plus it's $10 to get in. I don't mind paying for admission, but $10 for this show is extortion.

I just got back. I picked up an ammo can ($10), Gadsden flag ($10), three Magpul AR mags ($12.95 ea). Very few in attendance. Not many deals, but not that bad of a show. I'm somewhat glad I went, just to be able to see stuff without being jostled by a huge crowd.

Just got back from the show. It was ok. Kind of small for a $10 admission fee. Not crowded at all. I guess that's better than fighting to get through the crowd that is usually at the Valley Forge show, constantly bumping elbows and shuffling feet to move a few inches at a time.

I'm not sure why there was a salesman for a bathroom remodeling company there. Someone should have told him it was a gun show, not a home show. Maybe he figured a wife or girlfriend would allow a guy to buy a new gun if she got a new bathroom?

I was very disappointed there were no ammo dealers. it was nice that it was not crowded, but I also see why it wasn't crowded !

This show hasn't been getting very good reviews, may not be too long before it is gone....and that is a sad state of affairs for the gun guys and a victory for the gun haters. Promoter needs to work on turning it around.

I bought some powder there on Sunday. Yeah, the $10 entrance fee almost made me leave but since I was already there- what the hell.

Very disappointed on the lack of vendors. Not many people buying there either.

I also didn't like the parking area, weird set up. I won't go again.

Wow, was I the only one who bought something? I mean, I know it was small, but it wasn't THAT bad, was it?
