1 FOR 2 (video)-funny !

After being saddled for almost a month, with lower back problems, I am back chasing the wily groundhog. This video probably deserves an Academy Award for ugly.
The best part would not upload to YouTube, sooooo I took a video of a video. It is at the end and I call it 'the mushroom cloud', almost nuclear.

Spooking them, me almost getting run over by a tractor (close), and hearing voices and music at the end, when I was videoing a video. Also you will here a pesky fly buzzing around the camera.

As I write I am still laughing at the end, my second shot at a chuck. I had no idea my .204 launched RPGs. I did short slow motions after each shot. The one at the end is a gem. Still laughing-----------fossil

On that shot for a split second, looking through the scope, I said 'holy poopski, I started a forest fire'. I have never seen a cloud like that with the 32 grain bullet at any yardage.

Another fine day day in the field! You're right about the tractors, you can drive up on almost any animal and they just look at you out of the corner of their eye. Maybe you need a 'tractor blind'.

I got lucky yesterday too when I spotted one before he saw me. I wasn't expecting him, but I sure solved the problem with my .17HMR around 125 yards.
