    If they don't even ask why take the course. It all seems like common sense.

    If its your first time getting your license they do ask if your took the course and depending on where you get it they will probably want to see a copy of your cert/card.

    I don't hunt, never have, maybe never will, but.....

    I took the on-line course. You can stop it at any time and pick up where you left off. It's very, very convenient, and well worth the paltry sum they request.

    Also, I learned a number of things, and not just hunting-related.

    If you already know everything there is to know about hunting, and firearms, then there's really no need to take the course. But, if you're like most of us, there's always a chance you might learn something new along the way.

    Taking the on-line course is FREE. You don't pay for your certificate of graduation (a credit card sized plastic card) until you pass the test.
