The calender page seems to under construction on the pa game site, are these courses offered year round? or is there a start / stop time period? I would like to take the course while i got time on my hands, but don't know when they are offered.

Re: How to take the PA Hunters Safety Course.
Classes may have already started. Our club has a class in March and September this year. You may want to contact your local gun club to see what their schedule is like. The other thing you can do is call the regional office, and they may be able to tell you what the schedule is like in your area.

Re: How to take the PA Hunters Safety Course.
As a follow up, I bumped into our local WCO.
He advised that they hope to have the new HE Calendar on the web by 1 February. He advised that they will have to advertise the old fashioned way for now on the upcoming classes. Look for some ads in papers, and posters hanging around in your favorite gun shops, ranges and club.

Re: How to take the PA Hunters Safety Course.
Most of the districts have their yearly update classes for the HTE instructors in early March. As such, it is advised to start classes thereafter. Most clubs will hold classes until season starts in the fall.
