Dauphin County Preemption Violation?

I'm not sure if this has been brought up already but according to the Dauphin County Parks & Recreation website firearms are prohibitted from county parks. It seems like everywhere I turn now there's another preemption violation. Has anyone ever tried to get this corrected?

14.No person shall carry a knife upon their person having a blade of 3 inches or longer in length, or have possession of, or discharge a BB gun, air rifle, pistol, firearm, bow and arrow, or any other type of lethal weapon in any park, except on facilities expressly designate or provided for that purpose.

HBG - the (... have possession of ... firearm) is where the preemption would come into play. I am currently fighting it in Centre County. If you want to use it, (changing names, addresses, etc that need to be changed) you may.

Thanks Xring! I already used a variation of that letter to send to the appropriate parties in Lower Paxton Twp in regards to their parks. If there's not already something in progress for Dauphin Co I guess I'll just run with it. Thanks for taking the time to challege the violation in Centre County!
