Informing LEO in PA of LTCF
Can anyone confirm that LEOs in PA can pull up info based on your license plate number or drivers license number that tells them that you have a current LTCF?
I know that PA is not a "Must Inform" state, but I've read a lot of discussions where people recommend notification anyway. I would choose not to inform of just having a LTCF particularly if I'm not carrying, but if they can know from the computer, I'd rather be the one telling them.
Thanks in advance for your input.

For all technical purposes, yes. They could get your information from your plate, then contact the sherriff, and verify if you were or were not licensed. In the same way they can find out a whole lot more.
However, for your average traffic violation, all they are checking for, is to make sure you have no warrants, the car isn't stolen, etc and so forth.
Can they, yes. But it is alot more work than they like.
At least, this is what I have seen.I'm so fast, I can bump fire a bolt action.

Re: Informing LEO in PA of LTCF
As Connal pointed out, they can find out your are licensed. However your LTCF status is not directly connected to your drivers license or vehicle registration.
There is no legal requirement to notify an officer that you are armed. That is totally up to you whether or not you want to let the LEO know. With some officers it may help you out, with other officers it may just make life even harder.RIP: SFN, 1861, twoeggsup, Lambo, jamesjo, JayBell, 32 Magnum, Pro2A, mrwildroot, dregan, Frenchy, Fragger, ungawa, Mtn Jack, Grapeshot, R.W.J., PennsyPlinker, Statkowski, Deanimator, roland, aubie515

Re: Informing LEO in PA of LTCF
There are states where it pops up automatically when they run your drivers license. IE In OH, it pops up with the similar notification as a "Felony warrant"....tell me that isn't stupid.
But in PA i believe it was mentioned on here a time or two that the LEO would have to run a separate query of the system in order to find out.
