~ Maadi / OOW-ITM AK-47/ARM rifle

Recently acquired this high quality Soviet Russian style AKM in 7.62x39. Picked up this rifle in a deal from another long time Jouster board veteran. Got the rifle and though the wife is willing to now get within six-feet of the thing without causing a ruckus, figured it’s probably more prudent to swap it off for something else interesting.

The rifle is quite good being based on an AC series Egyptian Maadi AKM from the early 1990s built up on an Ohio Ordinance - OOW receiver. Gawd only knows what ever happened to the original Cairo made Maadi receiver (?) Who ever handled the restoration on this Kalashnikov did a fine job. Pharoah’s hat symbol contains the number “94” which is probably for the date of original manufacture. The ribbed cover is matching to the AC serial number on the upper receiver. Rifle is compliant with the required number of U.S. made parts. There are two used Yugo magazines that have the hold open feature on the last round. Previous owner claims to have put a couple of hundred rounds through this rifle and it functioned well with no issues. The bore, which might be chrome lined is dazzling and bright.
