Default Sig P250 in .45 ACP or Glock 23 in .40?

I'm in the market for another pistol and have it down to either a slightly used Sig P250 compact in .45 or a new Glock 23. They are both around the same price and I don't know which one to get?

So, I'm here to get your opinions or which one you all prefer.

Can't say either is a bad choice but I much prefer the Glock trigger to the long DAO of the P250. Other than that, it's just about what your preferences are.

Theyre both standard level firearms, nothing special about either that stands out to make one better than the other.

    My suggestion is:

Whichever one shoots better for you and will suit your needs the best.

IE, if you're going to carry, and conceal, which will be the easiest to conceal according to your current dress style.

Which one presents the most economical ammo for your situation.

They're both solid platforms, so I think my suggestions will be the most beneficial for you, before the fan boys start arguing glock vs sig.

Which ever one I get will be in my CC rotation. The Sig is slightly heavier compared to the Glock, and .40 is roughly the same price as .45. According to the specs I found online the Sig has a 6 lb trigger compared to the 5.5 lb of a Glock. Keep the suggstions coming.

Yeah, but the trigger pull LENGTH, reset weight and distance, take-up and overtravel are all different.

I prefer the Glock triggers, myself.

I agree. Also, the other functions of the pistol, especially the magazine release, are quite important.

I recommend that you shoot both as much as possible, then decide. Unless you have deep pockets, in which case I recommend that you purchase both, and decide which you like better, after years of shooting.

Without knowing whats currently in your collection its hard to guess what you are more inclined to buy. As for Sigs, I have one. Its a 226. I have four Glocks. 21, 22, 27, and 19. All five of these guns are totally reliable and accurate. If I was adding to my line up I would go with the Sig 250. I dont think you can go wrong with either one as long as you dont second guess yourself. Let us know what you do.

As much as I love my new Sig (229) I would say the Glock only because its been proven. The P250 hasnt really been out that long yet and they still havent released the other models yet such as the (standard and subcompact). IMO the P250 is a good choice is you want to change calibers often, but I believe those conversions are really expensive.

    Both great.

Check the thickness, weight, height, round count, ease to conceal, ect. . .

I plan on getting a sig .45 soon. The p250 is not on list. When it comes to buying a Sig, I'd much rather have the DA during the first pull, then have SAO after that.
Or the choice to pull the hammer and start out with SAO.

    **Not to fanboyish????
