OC right past PSP

I was on my way home from work yesterday, OC on the bike. About a mile from the house I passed a PSP Trooper (on my strong side) using radar. He was only parked a few feet off the road. I cruised right past him at the snails pace 25mph speed limit.

I gave him a nod as I passed and watched his head turn to follow me as far as he could. He was looking right at me and there was no way he didn't see the OC'd XD, especially at that distance and speed.

All I kept thinking was "Here we go" as I watched in my mirror, fully expecting to see the lights come on and the car pull out. You know what happened? Nothing. He didn't budge.

Maybe he didn't see it. Maybe he didn't care. All I know is it was uneventful, just as it should have been.

He probably didn't care and/or knew the law.

I've OC'd in front of PSP while walking numerous times in town here, we don't have a local force. Rarely gets a second look and the only responses have been "good evening", "how are ya?", "nice night", and "take care". Not even a single question about my firearm, ever.
