Thought so, just wanted to save a long walk back to the car. Thank you so much for the prompt response.

CC today in AGH without a problem. AGH did have metal detectors in the emergency room last time we went.

Sort of makes sense to have metal detectors at urban hospital emergency rooms considering all the riff-raff they have to deal with (not to confuse all attendees as riff-raff, just some of them).
Rural hospital emergency rooms? Not a problem.

ST Clair ED does not have detectors.
My wifey works in EDs. In Va they did have problems with people carrying in to the ER to "finish the fight".The Lord Bless You

Alot of the city hospitals have metal detectors in the ER. My wife was in the Er at AGH a few months back and I was heading in and went through the detector, when I beeped I informed the security officer working the door that I was CC'ng. I told him sorry, we're on the North Side and I wasn't about to leave it in the truck. He offered to check it for me with no problem.

I believe it is private property. as such it is up to each hospital.
