Converting hand grinder to power grinder

Hey looking for some advice here...

I'm thinking about getting this:

and then attaching a motor to it, way more affordable then one that is motor driven.

Has anyone done this and how did it work for you?

My father in law uses an ancient grinder rigged to a motor with a v-belt like from a car. the motor sits on a hinged pine board the is elevated when under tension from the belt. It works well.
