Re: Coventry Mall Stop
I listened to the scanner feed archive at scanamerica.us for Chester county on 8/14. I listened from around 6:00 until 9:00, but didn't hear anything about your stop.

Re: Coventry Mall Stop
I've never even seen this before...sorry guys I've been extremely busy with life as it were. Where can you view archives for a day in question? This is actually pretty interesting...
I'm not sure how the police chain-o-command works but these guys were township cops afaik. Does this site catch all traffic? ...I still can't figure out how to get to archived info if any...sigh.

P.S. We sure that's not skirting the line of Montgomery County? No time to look, tired!

Scroll down to the bottom and you can see the archives for the past two weeks or so. It's split into 15 minute chunks.
North Coventry is definitely the department that handles the mall.

Re: Coventry Mall Stop
I've taken a quick listen...
between 7 and 9PM on the 14th...nothing about me. So, I have no idea if they even checked my info or if they did it in some way which wasn't over the monitored channels which is on this feed.
This concerns me. Who the heck did they talk to to verify who I was?
At a minimum, according to the officer...I would have been called in by name to check to see if I was a criminal of some kind and also to check to see if I had registered weapons to my name (probably a bluff)...

Re: Coventry Mall Stop
Tris,
Most of North Coventry's calls are dispatched from the Pottstown PD dispatcher which is MontCo radio or through a call made directly to the NorCo police station. At that time of the day I would expect that no one was in the NorCo twp. office.
NorCo also uses 151.1 as a local twp freq. while the mall security uses 469.675
I think that Pottstown PD is identified as a 94- unit while NORCO utilizes the 17- car description.
Now go back and listen some more If I get time, I'll try to locate it as well.

Trying this:
155.61000 WNDP682 RM 123.0 PL Mont Twp PD1 Montgomery Twp. - Police Ch. 1 Dispatch FM Law Dispatch
Don't see anything else that would match. Hey, I got free time
:P

P.S. I can't find a feed for the above, and therefore no feed archive. The only feeds I see available are the fire ones aka Montgomery County Fire etc.Last edited by pctristan; August 21st, 2009 at 11:29 AM.
