Was this the club where the pres was pocketing money? Then not paying the bills on top of the other stuff?

I heard at work today, it is about back taxes, and a truckload of clay birds, that was not paid for.

Re: York Adams Game and Fish Problems???
The club is down but not out. The Board of Directors has done a pretty good job of reconstructing the financial records & getting a handle on the situation. The Board is not saying much about the former President so they can preserve as much evidence as possible. Lots of folks want justice & to point fingers but the bottom line is that we the members share a considerable chunk of responsibility for letting this get so far out of hand.
It's a good club with reasonable dues & pretty decent facilities. We could use some new members especially members who are willing to do more than just send a check once a year.

Re: York Adams Game and Fish Problems???
Sorry, but "we the members" do NOT share responsibility! It was and is the fiduciary duty of the Board of Directors to have an annual audit. The York County District Attorneys' office told me this. Motions were set in place each year to do an audit, but the BOD listened to the ex-president who stated that an audit was not necessary. If anything, they hold as much responsubility for this as the crook.
