Default Who actually owns a full auto?

It's one thing to have a suppressor or a <18' shotgun, but who here actually went thru the NFA red tape and now owns a full auto firearm?

    It's the same process.
Anything NFA, goes through the same channels.

Oh I know that, I just wanted to know who got a full auto instead of a sawed of shottie or suppressor. It seems like those are the two people get. You never hear of people buying full autos.

I guess you just don't hang with the right crowd or read the right forums and posts. There are a lot of registered FA guns floating around out there.

Quite a few people I know personally own FA stuff

    but I'm not in PA

If God didn't intend us to have guns why would he have given us a trigger finger?

Most folks dont have the money to buy a full-auto. Aside from the $200 tax stamp, all it takes is a hacksaw to have a SBS or SBR. Cans can be made really cheap too if you're handy.

Lets say I got the $200 stamp... could I convert my AK to full auto? Or would that cost a shitload too? Why would I have to buy a full auto outright?
