P229R vs Sp 2022
I'm looking at taking advantage of the special Sig pricing for Military personnel and was wondering what the real difference between these two are, they're roughly the same size, and come in the same caliber, but the 229 is $150 more than the 2022. Any help would be welcome.

The 229 is all steel compared to the polymer frame of the 2022. I personally like the feel of the all steel 229 over the 2022. The 2022 feels cheap to me, but to each his/her own.
The 2022 being polymer will be lighter for you if you want to carry the pistol.
In the end it's your money, so buy which one fits better in your hands.

I like the 229R that I have, but have heard good things about SP2022.
