Years ago when i lived in the PRNJ i bought 2 air pistols in PA. I still have them 31 years later. Border patrol must have been out to lunch.
We live in a society where pizza gets to your house before the police.

Re: Purchasing a BB gun in PA?
Where were all the gun owners in NJ to stop stupid laws like from being enacted in the first place?
Did they speak up or just sit on the sidelines?
Don’t like the existing laws, fight to change them or deal with the consequences of inaction.
PA only lacks a simple majority of AG votes in harrisburg to make it the most anti-gun state in eastern US, its not for the lack of trying to pass them in PA read some of them here.

Re: Purchasing a BB gun in PA?
Thats an extreme case and also a rifle. bb GUNS cannot approach those velocities and a pellet (usually lead) is heavier than a steel bb. I own a few BB guns and they move so slowly that a breeze can push it 5 feet off target within 50 feet. It's not generally considered a lethal weapon.
Seriously, they can't be considered equal. Otherwise, you would have to go through a FFL in PA for those too instead of walmarts Toy department."Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both." Benjamin Franklin
