PMSC Group Shooters RSO Training Class Interest

This thread is here to find out who would be SERIUOSLY interested in taking an NRA RSO class to help out at PMSC Group Shoots. I am gonna use what little free time I have between jobs to try to find us an instructor to do a class for us. I would like to restrict this class to only those who attend the group shoots at PMSC and are willing to pull some RO duty.

So pease be honest!!

I need to know who is interested, and if the cost of the course would be a deciding factor for you. (typical RSO courses run around $75) REMEMBER, BE HONEST!

I am going to try to get it at a reduced rate from a friend, but I need a little info to go on!

I would be interested in doing the RSO course, the $75 is certainly a factor. There are times where the budget permits the expense and times when it does not. Planning on having that available is always iffy, things come up. I am certainly interested depending on time/location/cost.

If you are an NRA certified instructor, you can take the course as an independent study and mail in the test.

Right, I posted that in the group shoot #30 thread too. If anybody wants to try it, I'll help you out if you need it...

BTW, anyone who is an NRA Certified Instructor in any discipline can take the RSO course from home here is the link. Be warned, I have heard doing it this way is extremely difficult. If you would like to go this route and want help PM me and I'll do what I can!

No, you don't have to be.

If you are you can do the selfpaced home study course.

If you're not, you have to sit through a day long class...

i'd be willing to get certified, though, money is very tight with not working.

on several occasions i have been tossed into an RO situation even though i'm not caertified. mostly if was during thursday nights for the Practical pistol shoots at the club.
